Teen Space Program

Polar Bear Cupcakes

with The Baking Coach

Wednesday's snow made perfect weather for decorating cupcakes like an arctic animal. The Baking Coach showed teens how to turn boring (but yummy) vanilla cupcakes into almost to adorable to eat polar bears.

First icing their cupcakes with vanilla frosting, teens then used white, pink, black, and purple fondant to make the face to place on top.

As with most programs some teens decided to get creative with their supplies.

Each teen had three cupcakes that were both delicious and adorable to take home. Some though didn't make it out of the library as the makers couldn't resist snacking on one.
