📖Recommend for Grades 8 and up📖
by Morgan Matson
After
Taylor's father is diagnosed with cancer, the family returns to their old lake
house for one last summer together. It also means Taylor will be returning to
face Henry and Lucy, whom she literally ran away from the last time her family
was at the lake. While many things are still the same, some have changed, and
Taylor learns that sometimes there are second chances.
Make
sure you have a box of tissues ready while reading this bittersweet story.
While the majority of the book takes place in the present summer, there are
several flashbacks throughout the story. Whether reading in summer or at a
different time of year, this is a wonderful story of family, friendship, and
second chances.
